Q99. A customer is using the Content Transfer Tool (CTT) to migrate Assets to AEM as a Cloud Service. The timeline of the activity streams for all assets must be migrated, including all Publish and Unpublish tasks.
What should the DevOps engineer do when creating the migration set?

Include Mapping from IMS Users and Groups and add /dam/content. Include versions and include path
/var/audit.

Include Mapping from IMS Users and Groups and add /var/audit.

Include versions and add /var/audit/com.day.cq.replication.

Include versions and include path /var/audit.

When configuring the Content Transfer Tool (CTT), DevOps engineers can specify exact JCR paths to migrate. While the general /var/audit path contains various system logs, the prompt explicitly asks to migrate
“Publish and Unpublish tasks.” In AEM, these specific replication events (activity streams related to activation) are stored exactly under the /var/audit/com.day.cq.replication path. Adobe certification exams test for this level of granularity, making the most specific path the correct “Expert” choice over the broader /var/audit root.

Q100. Which strategy ensures zero downtime deployment in AEM as a Cloud Service?

Manually disabling production servers during deployment

Using blue-green deployment techniques in Cloud Manager

Configuring Dispatcher to serve stale content during deployment

Deploying only small changes at a time

Q101. A DevOps engineer is configuring the statfile to level 2 in the dispatcher configuration. The document root is configured to /var/www.
Which level will be protected from invalidation?

/consent

/content/eu/en

/content/dam

/var/www

The Dispatcher statfileslevel property determines how granular cache invalidation is. By default (level 0), a single .stat file exists at the document root, and any page activation invalidates the entire cache. When set to level 2, the Dispatcher creates .stat files at depth 2 (e.g., /content/mysite/). If a page under /content/mysite/ is activated, only that specific .stat file is updated, invalidating only the cache for that site. Because /consent is at depth 1 (above the stat file level), it is mapped to the root .stat file. It is “protected” from the frequent invalidations happening in deeper, isolated branch folders like /content/eu/en because they no longer share the same stat file.

Q102. A DevOps engineer is migrating custom index definitions in preparation to move an on-premise instance to the AEM as a Cloud Service.
The on-premise AEM instance contains indexes in the following locations:
under /apps/my-app/oak-index
under /content/my-site/oak-index
under /oak:index
The indexes must be consolidated before using the Index Converter utility.
Which two possible paths should the DevOps engineer consolidate the index to? (Choose two.)

/content/my-site/oak-index

/conf/my-site/settings/oak-index

/oak:index

/apps/my-app/oak-index

Q103. A DevOps engineer is managing an AEM as a Cloud Service Sites environment for a customer. After development tested the Maven build locally, a new development pipeline is executed. The development pipeline fails in the build steps with the following errors:
[Queue Processor for Subscriber agent forwardPublisherSubscriber] org.apache.jackrabbit.vault.fs.io.Importer Error while processing…
Caused by: org.apache.sling.api.resource.PersistenceException: Unable to commit changes to session.
Caused by: javax.jcr.AccessDeniedException: OakAccess0000: Access denied Message: Error trying to extract package at path /etc/packages/com.myapp/myapp-base.content.zip.
What should the DevOps engineer do?

Add ACLs for the sling-distribution-importer user via User Admin.

Add ACLs for the sling-distribution-importer user via the repoinit script.

Add ACLs for the sling-distribution-importer user via curl command.

Restart the sling-distribution-importer bundle via the OSGi Web Console.

In AEM as a Cloud Service, Sling Content Distribution is responsible for moving content and packages between tiers. If the sling-distribution-importer system user lacks the necessary Access Control Lists (ACLs) to write to specific paths, it will throw an AccessDeniedException during package installation. Because AEMaaCS environments are ephemeral and access to traditional local consoles (like User Admin or CRXDE) is restricted or wiped out during updates, all system user creation and ACL configurations must be declared as code. The DevOps engineer must configure these permissions using OSGi factory configurations containing OSGi Repoinit scripts.

Q104. A developer needs to preview a new page before releasing publicly. The DevOps engineer confirms that AEM as a Cloud Service is the latest version and that the correct IP has been added to a new Allow List for the Preview Service. The developer is still not able to access the page.
What should the DevOps engineer do?

Create an IP Allow List and apply to Publish Service

Unapply the default IP Allow List from the Preview Service

Unapply the default IP Allow List from the Publish Service

Reapply the default IP Allow List from the Preview Service

Q105. After deploying a new OSGi configuration, users report that they can no longer access published content.
What should be your first troubleshooting step?

Check error logs in /system/console/slinglog for possible misconfigurations

Restart the publish instance to refresh the configurations

Disable all replication agents and reconfigure them

Restore the default OSGi configurations from an earlier backup

Q106. Which integrations can be configured on Adobe I/O to work with Cloud Manager? (Choose three)

Adobe Analytics for real-time reporting

Adobe Target for personalized experiences

Adobe I/O Events for webhook-based notifications

Adobe Campaign for email marketing automation

Adobe AEM Dispatcher for cache management

Q107. Recently published content is not visible on the search results on the public website.
* All results show on the author environment
* Some results show on the publish environment
* The LastIndexedTime metric is not updated when checking the Async Indexer stats MBean
* The user is trying to find the page by the title
The following line appears regularly in the log:
08.01.2019 01:22:04.474 *INFO* [pool-9-thread-2] org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.plugins.index.IndexUpdate Reindexing will be ] How can the DevOps engineer gather more information about the root cause of this issue?

Increase the logging level for the health reports in the maintenance UI.

Increase the logging level for org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.plugins.index.

Increase the logging level for stdout.log to DEBUG in the sling log support configuration.

Increase the logging level for stderr.log to DEBUG by setting a JVM option.

When AEM search results are outdated and the LastIndexedTime metric is stalled, it indicates that the Oak Asynchronous Indexer has failed or is stuck on a corrupted node. To diagnose Oak indexing issues, you must create a specific logger in AEM OSGi configurations for the Java package responsible for Oak indexing: org.
apache.jackrabbit.oak.plugins.index. Setting this logger to DEBUG or TRACE will output detailed information into the logs, revealing the exact path or query causing the indexer to fail.

Q108. Which component should be configured in Apache to enable Dispatcher in AEM?

mod_cache.so

mod_rewrite.so

mod_dispatcher.so

mod_proxy.so

Q109. A developer informs a DevOps engineer that a page they are working on renders as expected in the AEM Authoring environment but appears blank when viewed through the dispatchers.
* No errors are present in the browser console.
* Other instances of this page template render properly.
* The page renders properly when accessing with the www URL but renders blank with the non-www URL.
What is causing this issue?

The ‘anonymous’ user does not have read permissions on the path.

The domain’s IP is not listed in the /allowedclients section.

A matching entry is missing in the /virtualhost section.

There is an incorrect rule in the /filter section.

The Dispatcher relies on the /virtualhost section of the farm configuration to route incoming HTTP requests based on the Host header. If a page renders correctly on www.domain.com but returns a blank or default response on domain.com, it strongly indicates that the bare domain (non-www) has not been added to the
/virtualhost array for that specific site’s farm configuration. The Dispatcher does not know how to handle the request for the missing host and drops or misroutes it.

Q110. Which actions can be performed using the Cloud Manager API? (Choose two)

Retrieve pipeline execution logs

Manually trigger a code deployment

Enable real-time dispatcher rule updates

Q111. What is the primary function of the AEM Dispatcher in a web proxy infrastructure?

To store content directly in the JCR

To act as a caching and load-balancing layer between AEM and end-users

To replace the need for replication agents in AEM

To manage workflow automation in AEM

Q112. A DevOps engineer notices that the Online Revision Garbage collection is not running as part of the daily maintenance tasks. After inspecting the server’s error log, the following shows up during the maintenance schedule:
“Revision GC will not run: Size delta is N% or N/N (N/N bytes), so skipping compaction for now” The DevOps engineer needs to make sure that the revision garbage collection runs during the scheduled maintenance task. Which additional step should the DevOps engineer take?

Set full compaction schedule property for com.adobe.granite.maintenance.crx.impl.
RevisionCleanupTask to a preferred day.

Disable the estimation phase in the Apache Jackrabbit Oak segment-Tar Nodestore Factory.

Invoke startRevisionGC() for SegmentRevisionGarbageCollection MBean in the JMX console.

Increase the size of the TarMK segment files.

The Oak Segment NodeStore (TarMK) includes an “estimation phase” before running Revision Garbage Collection (Compaction). This phase calculates if enough “garbage” (unreferenced data) has accumulated to justify the heavy I/O cost of compaction. If the size delta doesn’t meet the threshold, it skips the process to save resources. If a DevOps engineer must force the compaction to run regardless of the delta, they must configure the OSGi configuration for the “Apache Jackrabbit Oak Segment NodeStore Service” and disable the “Estimation Phase” by unchecking/toggling the appropriate property.

Q113. A customer’s development team is expanding and requires more development environments to be added to the AEM as a Cloud Service. There is no visible option via the Cloud Manager UI to add a new development environment under the current program.
What should the DevOps engineer do?

Advise the customer to contact the Adobe account team.

Add a new runmode via OSGi configuration.

Add a new sandbox program via the Cloud Manager UI.

In AEM as a Cloud Service, the number of provisioned environments (especially Development, Stage, and Production environments) is strictly governed by the customer’s commercial license and contract. If the “Add Environment” button is disabled or missing in Cloud Manager, it means the organization has reached its licensed limit. Technical teams cannot bypass this via the UI or OSGi. The DevOps engineer must advise the business to contact their Adobe Account Executive or Customer Success Engineer to procure and provision additional cloud environments.

Q114. What are the key benefits of using AEM Dispatcher as a caching layer? (Choose two)

Reduces the load on AEM publish instances

Eliminates the need for a CDN

Provides improved response times for cached content

Allows all requests to bypass caching

Q115. Which mechanism should be set up to prevent timing conflicts for cache invalidation in an on-premise AEM environment?

A Reverse Replication agent on each Publish instance.

A Dispatcher Flush agent on each Author instance.

A custom invalidation handler on each Dispatcher instance.

A Dispatcher Flush agent on each Publish instance.

A common race condition (timing conflict) occurs when a Dispatcher Flush agent is configured on the Author instance. The Author sends the content to the Publish instance and simultaneously sends a flush request to the Dispatcher. If the flush request arrives before the Publish instance finishes saving the content, the Dispatcher clears the cache, immediately receives a new request, pulls the old content from the still-updating Publish instance, and caches the old content again. To prevent this, the Dispatcher Flush agent must be configured on the Publish instance. This ensures the flush request is only sent to the Dispatcher after the Publish instance has completely saved the new content.

Q116. A customer is using the Content Transfer Tool (CTT) to migrate to AEM as a Cloud Service. Only published content should be migrated to the target Production instance.
Which two actions should the DevOps engineer take? (Choose two.)

Install CTT on the source Author instance and migrate all content to the target Author instance.

Install CTT on the source Publish instance and migrate all content to the target Publish instance.

Copy and run the publish content tree workflow on the target Author instance.

Install CTT on the source Author instance and migrate all content to the target Author and Publish instances.

Install CTT on the source Publish instance and migrate all content to the target Author instance.

If a customer only wants published content on their new AEM as a Cloud Service Production instance, the cleanest source of truth is the legacy Publish instance, as it natively contains only activated content. To execute this, the Content Transfer Tool (CTT) should be installed on the legacy Publish instance. From there, the data must be ingested into both the new Target Publish instance (so the website works) and the new Target Author instance (so authors can continue editing the live content). Therefore, the DevOps engineer must extract from the source publish and ingest to both target environments.

Q117. Which monitoring practices help ensure AEM’s long-term stability? (Choose three)

Regularly reviewing Cloud Manager reports

Enabling automatic updates for all OSGi configurations

Monitoring system health metrics

Tracking error rates in logs

Using multiple package managers for redundancy

Q118. Developers add a content package module named “ui.utils” to the Maven project. The module provides debugging servlets for use in testing features for a website hosted on AEM as a Cloud Service. These servlets are not secured and should not be deployed to the production Cloud Service environment.
What should the DevOps engineer add?

Add “<dependency>” element identifying the “ui.utils” artifact and a matching “<embedded>” element to the “all” package pom.xml with a target path of /apps/mysite-packages/application/install.

Add a “<profile>” element in the “ui.utils” pom.xml that adds the “<cloudManagerTarget>all</cloudManagerTarget>” to the ui.utils package properties, which is activated when an env variable is set to a particular value.

Add a pipeline to the team’s CI service that builds the ui.utils content package and uploads it to the Author server’s CRX Package Manager servlet after receiving a successful response from a Cloud Manager webhook.

Deploy the “ui.utils” package using the CRX Package Manager directly in production.
